How the guides are made
The guides are for people who make explainer videos, product demos and short videos for social media, often with an AI coding agent. They explain how to plan, script, voice, caption and export a video, and what the tools and commands behind it do.
Who publishes them
I'm Vincent Schmalbach, a freelance software developer. I make explainroo, the free tool this site is about, and Unspar, the AI writing tool the guides are written with.
How they are written
Every guide starts as a headline. Unspar researches the topic on the web, writes the article and links its sources in the text, so you can check each claim where it comes from. Each page then gets links to related guides, an example video made with explainroo and the prompt to make your own.
You can watch a short demo of Unspar, made with explainroo.
What to keep in mind
- Platform specs, prices and features change. The date at the top of each guide says when it was last updated, and the linked sources have the current details.
- When a guide mentions explainroo, it says so at the top. I make explainroo, so read those parts as the maker's view.
- No guide is paid for, and the guides have no affiliate links.
